Alan is a Texas author with fifteen books under his belt. He is also co-author with Leon McWhorter of the stage plays Stained, Closure: The Problem with Money and Christmas Break. These were performed by the Dallas area community troupes CrossWise Players and CATZ. Closure was rewritten as a movie script and filmed in Dallas in August, 2007. See thecloseuremovie.com.
Recently published books include Currents in American History (with Terry Bilhartz) published by M.E. Sharpe (2007), Statistical Analysis Quick Reference Guidebook, with Wayne A. Woodward, Ph. D., Sage (2007) and A Daily Dose of the American Dream, Stories of Success, Triumph and Inspiration published by Rutledge Hill Press (1998). He's also written magazine pieces for Atlanta, Coin World, PC Magazine, Upper Room and other publications. Alan grew up in the Dallas area and he continues to make Dallas his home. He holds degrees from Dallas Baptist University, UT Arlington and Southern Methodist University.
