Description

Our purpose: Raise funds for the September 11th Fund, The New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund and The Twin Towers Fund.

Our method: Using eBay's Auction for America program, Texas authors will auction autographed copies of their books. All proceeds will go directly to the fund listed above.

Dates: The Texas Authors Auction is scheduled to begin on October 11, 2001 and continue through the end of the eBay Auction for America campaign.

How you can participate

If you are an author:
Donate one or more books to be put up for auction. For details on how to participate, please click here.

If you are a potential buyer:
Go to the eBay Auction web site and enter TXAUTHOR (no space) in the search box labeled "What are you looking for?" Click the "find it" button and all auctions associated with this drive will be displayed.

This drive is being promoted strictly by volunteers and is coordinated by Texas author Alan Elliott. No volunteers in this promotion handle any funds -- all proceeds are paid directly into the funds mentioned above through eBay Billpoint.
